The Atrium Health Floyd Chattooga Emergency Department, a facility of Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, is open 24/7 to stabilize and care for life-threatening injuries and illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes, breathing problems and accidents.
The facility is staffed 24/7 by an on-site board-certified physician.
Capabilities include:
- Six treatment rooms
- Onsite laboratory
- Imaging services, including X-ray, ultrasound and CT scan
- Heart testing such as an EKG
- A helipad, providing rapid access to the Floyd Medical Center Level II Trauma Center
