We are part of Advocate Health, a combination of Advocate Health Care, Atrium Health and Aurora Health Care. Based in Charlotte, NC, Advocate Health is the third-largest not-for-profit health system in the U.S.

As a provider of exceptional patient care grounded in the latest treatments and technology, we have earned numerous recognitions and awards. The Joint Commission has accredited our three hospitals and awarded advanced certifications in the areas of stroke, diabetes, heart failure and palliative care.

A legacy of growth and community service
Our history began with the establishment of Harbin Hospital in 1908 and Floyd County Hospital in 1942. Over the years, Harbin Hospital transformed into Harbin Clinic, a network of outpatient specialties that includes a state-of-the-art cancer center. Floyd County Hospital became Atrium Health Floyd, a regional health system of three hospitals, a behavioral health center and many outpatient services.
In 2024, Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin Clinic came together as one team, ringing in a new era in health care. This strategic partnership creates an integrated health system that can more effectively and efficiently serve the community.
