Floyd County Schools

Focusing on wellness of students & staff

We’re honored to provide health care services for Floyd County Schools. Through this partnership, we support our mission of being responsive to the health care needs in our community.

School nurses

As students settle into their daily routines, our school nurses will also assist those who take medications and offer advice to families about health care issues. In the event of an emergency, they are also available to help ensure the safety of students.

Athletic trainers

At Floyd County high schools, our athletic trainers work to prevent students from getting hurt and can help an injured athlete get back into the game.

Virtual doctor visits

Students, faculty members and staff of Armuchee High School, Coosa High School, Model High School and Pepperell High School can conveniently see a provider using video chat without leaving school. Most sick visits as well as disease management appointments are eligible for virtual doctor visits.

When to stay home

Deciding when your child is too sick to go to school can be difficult. We provide guidelines on when your child should stay at home.
