School nurses for Floyd County Schools

We provide nurses to Floyd County Schools to meet the health care needs of students and staff. From bandaging a skinned knee to supervising students who need medications while at school to providing care in emergencies, our nurses are a daily point of contact in our partnership with the school system.

Dr. Douglas provides a full range of health care services for all ages including newborns, children, teens and adults. His areas of practice include family medicine, gynecology and obstetrics. Dr. Douglas also serves as medical director of Atrium Health Floyd's School Nurse program, bringing clinical oversight to the health care school nurses provide to the children in our school.
