Smoke-free facilities

As a health care leader, we have a responsibility to provide a healthy, safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and staff. Tobacco use is prohibited in all Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin Clinic facilities, including parking lots and parking decks.

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Behavioral Health is an exception to our smoke-free policy. This facility has designated outside areas for smoking.

Language services

Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin Clinic provides trained language and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters to patients and their authorized representatives.

Medical interpreter services are available free of charge and include:

• Language phone line that offers interpretation in more than 240 languages
• On-site Spanish-speaking interpreters during select hours at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center and Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency Clinic
• Video devices for interpretation in 44 languages, including ASL

Bringing family and friends to outpatient appointments

We welcome patients to bring a loved one to their outpatient appointment. If you bring multiple people, your provider or the on-site manager may restrict how many are allowed in the room with you.

When possible, please do not bring young children to your outpatient appointment. If another adult is with you, we may ask them to stay with the children in the waiting area during your visit.

Parking at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center

Please allow extra time to reach Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center due to road construction and closures. This road work may affect Shorter Avenue, Turner McCall Boulevard, North Second Avenue and Martha Berry Boulevard.

Shuttles are available to take patients and visitors from your vehicle in the main entrance parking lot to the hospital. If you need a shuttle, call Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin security at 706-509-5150.
