Types of cancer we treat

We have expertise in treating all forms of cancer. We offer the latest treatment options and opportunities to participate in clinical trials. Cancers we treat include:

Cancer treatments and therapies

Advances in cancer treatment happen every day. Our experts work together to craft a personalized treatment plan for your needs. We use both conventional anti-cancer and supportive therapies to help enhance your treatment and maintain your quality of life.

Depending on the cancer type, your treatment may include:

Complementary therapies, such as nutrition, exercise, massage and acupuncture, create a comprehensive approach to healing. You may also benefit from cancer rehabilitation services such as physical, occupational or speech therapy.

Some types of cancer may be inherited. Your doctor may recommend genetic testing to look for gene mutations. The test results can help your doctor develop a customized care plan to target the specific gene mutation. Results can also benefit family members.

In addition, we offer access to clinical trials that study new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Our cancer specialists partner with leading academic and research centers around the world to advance cancer treatment. Participating in a clinical trial provides you with an opportunity to receive therapies that are not yet widely available.

Cancer screenings

Colorectal cancer and lung cancer are the two leading causes of cancer death in the U.S. Screenings can find these cancers at early stages when they’re easier to treat.

Colorectal cancer screening

When detected early, colorectal cancers can be cured. We suggest getting a colonoscopy to screen for cancer starting at age 45 (or earlier if you have a family history or other risk factors). Colonoscopies can also prevent cancer by finding polyps so your doctor can remove them.

Your primary care provider can help you schedule a colonoscopy based on your health needs.

Lung cancer screening

The signs or symptoms of lung cancer typically don’t develop until it reaches an advanced stage. By the time lung cancer spreads to other parts of the body, it’s more difficult to cure.

Our lung cancer screening program screens people who are at high risk for lung cancer. If we detect cancer, we connect you to advanced, comprehensive care so you can receive immediate treatment.

If you are between the ages of 50 and 80 and have a history of smoking, you may be at risk of lung cancer. Talk with your primary care provider about whether screening is appropriate for you.

Are you at risk of colon cancer?

You can develop diabetes without knowing it. In fact, one in three adults in the U.S. has prediabetes. Estimate your risk of developing diabetes, determine which risk factors are controllable, and find out what to do next based on your results.
