Community benefits reports

Our annual community benefits reports provide a record of our financial investments in the communities we serve. Examples of community benefit activities include indigent care, health screenings, education programs and support groups.

Community health needs assessments

Not-for-profit hospitals are required to assess the health needs of the community periodically. We use the assessments, in part, to determine community benefit activities and develop community health improvement strategies.

Community health improvement strategies

A community health improvement strategy (CHIS) is a roadmap of interventions we plan to implement to improve public health. It also lists the partners we will work with and metrics for measuring impact.

Economic impact

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center and Atrium Health Floyd Cherokee Medical Center play a significant role in the economic health of the region.
