Dr. Gregory Rusiecki Seeing Patients at Three Rivers Drive

Preventive medicine is part of his passion

Dr. Gregory Rusiecki Seeing Patients at Three Rivers Drive

ROME, Ga., Feb 13, 2024 – Dr. Gregory Rusiecki is a board-certified family medicine physician whose areas of interest include preventive medicine and managing chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Rusiecki says the best part of his job is seeing a positive change in people's lives. He believes listening to patients is crucial when it comes to knowing how to provide the best treatment.

“My residency director used to tell me that it helps if you think of every patient as your mother," Rusiecki said. Try to provide each person you see with the care you'd want your mother to receive. That's all the motivation I need."

During his internship with Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Family Medicine Residency program, he was named chief resident and resident of the year.

He is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.

When he's not caring for patients, Rusiecki enjoys spending time with his wife and son, trail running, reading, growing plants and riding motorcycles.

He sees patients as young as 18 to adults of all ages at Atrium Health Floyd Primary Care Internal & Family Medicine at 123 Three Rivers Drive in Rome. To make an appointment, call 706-295-3961.
