Their commitment to excellence is evident in the creation of a state-of-the-art oncology rehabilitation gym at the Harbin Clinic Dr. Tony E. Warren M.D. Cancer Center, offering specialized support for patients recovering from breast, head and neck, and colon cancers, as well as those managing lymphedema and cancer-related fatigue.
“Our oncology rehabilitation program is designed to address the unique needs of cancer patients, providing individualized care plans, speeding up healing and recovery, and improving overall function and mobility,” said Cindy Vice, program leader of Supportive Oncology Services. “We have two outstanding therapists, Daryl Floyd and Tara Weems, who are dedicated to helping patients manage movement, nutrition, and stress — key standards in oncology care.”
Dr. Matt Mumber, radiation oncologist with Harbin Clinic, emphasized that supporting patients before, during, and after treatment leads to better outcomes and a smoother recovery process.
