School nurses for Polk County Schools

We provide nurses to the Polk County School District to meet the health care needs of students and staff. From bandaging skinned knees to supervising students who need medications while at school to providing care in emergencies, our nurses are a daily point of contact in our partnership with the school system.

Dr. Douglas also serves as medical director of Atrium Health Floyd's School Nurse program, bringing clinical oversight to the health care school nurses provide to the children in our school.
