Our approach to mobile mammograms
Our Mobile Mammography Coach is an advanced breast imaging system on wheels. The motorcoach is equipped with a state-of-the-art mammography machine and spa-like comforts.
Specially trained female providers travel to primary care offices and local businesses throughout the region. They offer screening mammograms and clinical breast exams to help prevent breast cancer.

What to expect at your mobile mammogram
A mobile mammogram experience is similar to a typical well-visit appointment. You’ll meet with a provider in a private, comfortable environment. You may even forget that you’re on a customized travel coach.
Your provider will do a clinical breast exam, which is a physical exam of your breasts and underarm area. Then they’ll guide you through your mammogram, taking X-ray pictures of your breast tissue from multiple angles.

You can find us at Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin Clinic primary care offices. We also travel throughout Georgia in Polk, Floyd, Bartow and Chattooga counties, and Alabama in Cherokee and Calhoun counties.
