Hastings is a physician assistant and is the primary health care provider in the clinic. She was raised in Lindale and has a daughter in the Rome City School District. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Shorter College. She received her Master of Medical Science from Mercer University in Atlanta.
