Services provided at Rome High School primary care clinic

Working closely with our school nurses, providers at this school-based primary care clinic will provide care to students, faculty and staff. Immediate care will be provided for those who become ill or have a minor injury while at school.

The clinic will accept appointments for routine check-ups and vaccinations. Parents will be notified before and after care is provided to minors.

The following is a list of services provided at the clinic:

  • Adult wellness visits
  • Well-child checkups
  • Sports physicals
  • Rapid flu test
  • Rapid strep test

Common conditions treated

The following is a list of common conditions that can be treated at the clinic:

  • Ear pain, ear infection
  • Fever
  • Pink eye
  • Sore throat
  • Upper respiratory illness symptoms
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Vomiting, diarrhea, gastrointestinal conditions

How to schedule

Appointments can be scheduled by calling 706-291-5372. Rome City School District students and parents can also contact the school nurse at their respective schools to set up an appointment. If a student needs to receive vaccines before the start of the next school year, they should call 706-509-3750 during the summer break.
