What we offer at Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin Clinic
Our team cares for your child’s physical, emotional and mental health throughout their development. We establish long-term, trusted relationships with your family.
Well-checks and immunizations
The early years of a child’s life are crucial for their health and development. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ national guidelines for health screenings. We also follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s national immunization guidelines.
Support for your child’s nutrition needs
Good nutrition is essential to a child’s health and development. Childhood obesity is a health care crisis, but it can be reversed or prevented. We partner with you to instill healthy eating habits for your child.
Specialized pediatric care
Some pediatric conditions require care from physicians with specialized training. Our team can refer you to the appropriate specialists and coordinate your child’s care. We stay in constant communication with other departments to ensure your experience is seamless.
Pediatric cardiology
If your child’s pediatrician detects a heart issue during a well-check visit, you have access to our highly trained pediatric cardiologists. These specialists have extensive training in diagnosing and treating heart problems in infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
Pediatric hospital care
If your child has a condition that requires a hospital stay, our pediatricians provide a seamless connection. We can coordinate care at the Stephen D. Smith, MD, Pediatric Center at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center and other health care systems.
Convenient access to care
When your child needs care, you don’t have to travel far. With multiple pediatric locations across Rome, Cartersville, Cedartown and Adairsville, we offer convenience and peace of mind – close to home.
